Sephora to finally land in Queensland early this year

SephoraQLD02

Makeup giant Sephora needs little introduction, the name alone can have a woman’s heart beating a million miles an hour.

The French-born beauty mecca opened its introductory Australian store in 2014 in Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall, followed by two store openings in Macquarie Centre last September and Melbourne in December 2015.

Last year Queenslanders finally gained access to what the makeup giant has to offer with the launch of its online store in Australia. However, many customers were left disappointed as Sephora’s full offering of brands is not available on the website.

Now the word is out that Sephora is finally opening a bricks-and-mortar store in Queensland! Sephora have advertised career opportunities for their upcoming Gold Coast store on recruitment website Seek. We wonder if the LVMH owned store is following in clothing retailer Zara’s footsteps and plans to open in Robina Town Centre...

The Gold Coast store is allegedly set to open in mid-late April this year. The Courier Mail has further reported that Sephora's Brisbane store is in the works. While no location or date is confirmed, the store is rumoured to be in the CBD.
