Am I the only one who’s completely horrified at the fact that the face of Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2016 campaign isn’t even real?

The brand has shocked the world by showcasing its latest collection on a video game character with pastel pink hair.

According to Harper’s Bazaar “Nicolas Ghesquière opted for a relatively unknown star (at least in terms of the fashion world) for Vuitton's Series 4 campaign, Lightning from the Final Fantasy game series. The creative director unveiled the campaign starring the pink-haired character on Instagram, which was created in collaboration with video game artist Tetsuya Normura.”

What’s disturbing is that fashion already portrays unrealistic standards of beauty, but now we’re expected to worship sci-fi looking characters as they sport around coveted designs?

When did this change come about where we no longer want to see clothes on real people? Is this the way of the future? How will this challenge our perception of a healthy body image? How will this damage one’s self confidence when young women start comparing their figures and flaws to a cartoon character whom is stick thin?

The inspiration behind Louis Vuitton’s campaign is the merging of reality and fantasy. The result is the character Lightning sporting the season’s ‘it’ bag, Go-14.

It was a crisp summer night and I’d slipped into my figure-hugging, little black dress and strappy-satin, Jimmy Choo heels and headed to the city’s hottest nightclub. While my friends and I were waiting for our cocktails by the bar, I ran into an old acquaintance. She was snuggling into the nook of a tall, toned man. The real reason behind Rihanna’s album delay has been revealed

The world has been getting impatient waiting for the Barbados babe to drop her new album, which was set to be released last November. The album, ANTI, has been delayed frequently and fans are starting to demand answers! The much-awaited record is the follow-up to Rihanna's 2012 album Unapologetic, which topped charts.

Finally the reason behind the delay has come to light; songwriter Glass John claims Rihanna's rumoured boyfriend and co-producer, Travis Scott is to blame.

In a major Twitter rant, John blamed Scott’s influence at Riri’s label as the reason for the album’s delay.

John, who wrote the track called Kiss It Better, tweeted that Scott is "wasting valuable studio time trying to come up with a song that can top Kiss It Better and he cannot because it's the beat damn song".

Why coping with loneliness will help you discover who you are

It's the lull in the valley, neither the end nor the beginning. It's that point in between that's the silent killer. It creeps in with no warning - abrupt, sudden and overwhelming. The chill sets in and you are left with the daunting reality of being alone.

It's the moment where it feels like nothing has the power to fill the unexplainable void.

Maybe the timeline has only been a week or maybe it has been a year? But when the one thing that holds you together is taken away - you're faced with yourself. Just you, alone with the honest representation of your thoughts, ambitions and dreams judged by your past, present and future.

Being built up to be torn down is a comprising position. Is it ever safe to fill that empty space with the one thing that destroyed us?

Were we ever built to truly handle falling apart?

I'm surrounded by strong, independent and beautiful women. Yet, their weakness all lies in a common denominator and it's the one thing that makes them emotionally vulnerable. They are victims to love, lust and loneliness.

My best conversations with the girls have been about how much we love and hate our exes. We're consumed by the new fling, the date, the relationship and the potential of love.

If we are this absorbed in the what ifs and the maybes then are we victims to our own selfish needs? And if we are, how do we free ourselves?

Are their survival tactics to making it through a lonely drought? Because it's something nobody talks about.

It's said that time will heal the heart but what if that is never enough?

I think there will always be a sting from a broken heart. Recovery is possible, but one is forever tainted when they've given themselves to love.

As women we are fragile human beings. Though we are externally fierce, confident and independent, inside us tells another story - delicate, wounded and diluted.

It had me thinking, loneliness tends to lurk in at the darkest hour. It's at night, when the world slows down and all we have is ourselves. The most confronting factor is that it's difficult to be left alone with our own thoughts.

It's not about the need to be with someone else, it's a complex issue where we are faced with desire and reality.

I believe that heartbreaks do elevate us. Maybe not immediately, but eventually. There is always beauty at the end of the journey.

Surround yourself with things that make you smile. Learn to love and accept yourself. Don't give up because you've been disappointed. Though we cry many tears and our heart aches uncontrollably, what we must never forget is that we were born to love and be loved.

Kim Kardashian has done it again. Her booty has broken the internet! Well, kind of.

Over a year ago, Kim skillfully balanced a champagne glass on her behind for the winter issue of Paper Magazine. It sent the world in a gawking panic as nobody could take their eyes off her derrière.

Today, she broke Apple with her emoji booty and all the rest of it. Her 'Kimoji' keyboard features cartoon depictions of her most famous looks. You can now send Kim's crying face, her boobs, her booty, condoms, a waist trainer and so much more to your friends and family?!

Miss Universe 2015 Host accidentally crowns wrong winner

This has to be the most awkward thing to watch. It's absolutely cringe worthy.

Miss Colombia has been accidentally crowned the winner of Miss Universe 2015. Host Steve Harvey announced the wrong winner of the title and has taken full responsibility for the human error. He apologised to the crowd admitting he had read out the wrong name.

Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez was quickly demoted to first runner-up and Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was announced as the actual winner.

Once it was all over, Harvey took to Twitter to apologise for his mistake.
