Forget the The Bachelorette, we are obsessed with The Patchellorette, a completely unique and hilarious competition by Australian boutique, Princess Polly.
Hosted by the forever sassy Kurt Koleman, The Patchellorette is a challenge between 7 of Australia's most stylish Instagramers, including Cartia Mallan, Sally Mustang and Emily Gurr, to find Australia's denim jacket customisation Queen (it's totally a thing).
The competition will see these Insta-famous girls create two identical, covetable denim jackets using the patches from Princess Polly's latest collection. What's more, by voting for your fave creation you'll have the chance to win the matching jacket by the crowned Patcherlorette, and a $500 Princess Polly voucher- talk about amazing!
We caught up with the genius minds behind the competiotn at Princess Polly to talk what sparked the idea for the challenge, and choosing the 7 Insta-Patchellorette's.
Tell us about the moment you came up with the brilliant idea of 'The Patchellorette'?
Initially we had the Patch Challenge all planned out but we didn't have a name. One night, one of the girls was at home watching TV and an ad for the new Batchelor came up - and the rest is history!
Was it a challenge to only choose 7 amazing Insta-Babes?
It was SO hard because there's so many babes out there but we think we definitely hand picked 7 of the best.
How did you end up deciding on these top 7 fabulous women?
Basically, we wanted to choose from our favourite muses on Instagram, but we wanted to make sure that they were all really different! Each girl brings their own special vibe into the competition which makes it really versatile.
Their customised denim jackets are hot AF! Do you think voters are going to have a tough time choosing their favourite?
Absolutely, when we initially decided on this concept, we knew the jackets would end up being cool but we had NO IDEA they would end up being this cool! The girls have done an incredible job of designing these jackets and they are all of such a high standards! Good luck choosing one - you will want them all!
