Undress Runway is the sustainable event of the year

Undress Runway

It’s that time of year again. The 5th annual Undress Runway will be bringing its sustainable runway to Brisbane, Melbourne and for the first time ever, Sydney, this October.

This year’s show will feature beautiful sustainable fashions created by local and international designers, including Pure Pod and Prophetik just to name a few.
Undress Runway director, Eddie Hamar, is thrilled with the designs which will be showcased this year, some designers who have been at Undress runway before who are showcasing their new designs and some fresh talent.

“We’ll be working with some incredible brands this year... the innovation behind some of these labels when it comes to sustainability is inspiring,” said Ms Hamar.

The beauty of the sustainable garments featured on the runway proves that you can still make a fashion statement while caring for the environment.

“We’re blown away by how these brands are able to bring such a high level of sophistication and aesthetic to their garments without putting the environment or the people involved in the manufacturing process in a compromised position,” said Ms Hamar.

This year’s Undress Runway is set to be the biggest ever, with big name sponsors including BMW i and The Fabric Store, Undress Runways launch of their sustainable fashion magazine, The Naked Magazine and their sustainable clothing label, VIHN.

With the fashion show running only for one night in each city, tickets are set to sell out fast!

“Our Brisbane show sells out quite quickly each year, as did our first Melbourne show last year...if you want to see one of the shows, you’ve got to get in fast,” said Ms Hamar.

Undress Runway will commence in Brisbane on October 10th, in Sydney on October 17th and then conclude in Melbourne on October 24th. For more information and tickets can be purchased here.
