Jan Arnold, Style Director and Co-Founder of CND nail polish, sent her models down the runway at Libertine's Fall/Winter 2016 rocking faux fur on their nails.
Now we aren't just talking a smidgen of fur - we are talking.. full, furry nails!
I know, how is this even considered practical? Could you wash your hands? Apply your own make-up? HOW WOULD YOU EAT?
This new trend certainly throws practicality out of the window and better yet down the drain and is a little more.. aspirational shall we say? But in a world that creates bubble nails and aquarium nails, the faux fur nail trend will certainly make a controversial appearance on social media.
While the results are bizarre and the logic behind it is well.. non-existent, you can't help but take your hat off to Jan Arnold for a new "talk of the town" trend (that's if you could do anything with those nails).
One can only wonder what is next..
