Lipstick should have layers
Layering is the key to making a lip product last! Line and fill your lips with a lip liner, then apply your first coat of lipstick. Blot your lips on a tissue a few times and leave your lips to air for a second before applying another coat on top.
A matte formula does the trick
Lipstick with a matte formula will last longer than a glossy or creamy type as it sticks to your lips rather than just sit on top of them. You can mattify any of your lipsticks by taking a thin layer of a tissue and placing it over your mouth then dusting your lips with a fluffy makeup brush and a translucent setting powder.
Liquid lipsticks last
Liquid lipstick is a long-lasting bright lip saviour, it contains the pigment of a lipstick but applies like a gloss and feels comfortable on the lips. Liquid lipsticks provide an opaque and vivid colour but the formula can be slightly drying and often hard to remove.
