The unique experience of Brisbane Fashion Weekend, hosted at the Royal International Convention Centre, is the first of its kind to grace the sunshine state. For those still recovering from the shock news that Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane has come to an end, the announcement of Brisbane Fashion Weekend is definite music to the ears for our city's fashionistas. However, rather than replacing Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival, Brisbane Fashion Weekend is set to simply fill the gap within the market and offer exceptional opportunities to the fashion obsessed.

Attendees to Brisbane Fashion Weekend will be graced the opportunity to buy pieces from over 50 of Australia's premium designers and labels, with additional exclusive discount prices being offered in Brisbane Fashion Weekend's Pop-Up Precinct. The luxurious runway at Brisbane Fashion Weekend will showcase a select number of labels featuring their latest collections, allowing fashionistas to have a deluxe front row experience.

With the catwalk being curated by Brisbane Fashion Weekend's Runway Stylist, Kimberley Gardner, a renowned stylist whose extensive client list includes Chanel and David Jones, The Runway is set to be a show stopping affair.

Visitors to Brisbane Fashion Weekend will have the opportunity to hear from industry experts, including Fashion Weekly, about the latest trends and industry specific advice at the Brisbane Fashion Weekend Centre Stage.

Additionally, there are a few unmissable elements, including Brisbane Fashion Weekend's Pamper Room where visitors can relax with a mini-pamper experience, or enjoy a glass of bubbly while mixing with the industry's fashion elite in Brisbane Fashion Weekend's Champagne Lounge.

Brisbane Fashion Weekend event information

Brisbane Fashion Weekend will commence on October 2016, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23. Tickets start from $25 for Pop-Up Precinct only access, right up to $65 for a Front Row premium ticket which allows entry to all areas. Applications are now open for designers who wish to be featured in Brisbane Fashion Weekend's Pop-Up Precinct.
