Highlights

The refreshing Bradfield Plaza location of Manning Cartell's show was a stand-out for Day 3 of MBFWA. Architecture from the Sydney Harbour Bridge created an industrial feel while the Sydney Opera House looked stunning in the backdrop.

The runway was flooded with earthy colours, eclectic prints and edgy cut-out's; from a modern take on the snake skin print, to flared trousers and flowy blouses, the collection is evidently 70s inspired.

Another highlight, the runway at Bec & Bridge was adorned with creative chalk drawings which were hand drawn by an artist prior to the show.

Monochrome, metallic details and off the shoulder pieces dominated across the runways at Day 3 of MBFWA.

The fab front row

Attending the Bec & Bridge runway show was Jesinta Campbell, Samantha Jade, Christine Centenera and Edwina McCann. Anna Heinrich, Nadia Fairfax and Brooke Testoni sat front row at the Manning Cartell runway while Tash Sefton, Elle Ferguson, Donny Galella and Nikki Phillips were snapped at the By Johnny show.

What they wore

Fashionista's at Day 3 of MBFWA were on-trend and rocking their best 70s and 90s inspired looks with jumpsuits, flares and chockers being a popular choice. Coats were worn on the shoulders while top knots and messy buns were the go-to hairstyle – creating a casual-chic feel.

Quote of the day

“It's so hard not to stare when you look like an utter mess at Fashion Week. They [meaning the photographers] are not snapping because they love it...”
