The Oscar de la Renta show brought the amazing week of MBFWA to a close, featuring the elegant designs that the international designer is renowned for.

Being one of the first international designers to showcase at MBFWA, as well as having the stunning Australian Victoria's Secret Angel, Shanina Shaik, walking for the collection- the Oscar de la Renta runway was set to be a show stopping affair.

The designs comprised of ultra-feminine cocktail dresses and gowns perfect for a summer ball, as well as immaculate tailored looks for everyday wear. The collections diversity was reflected through the use of bold colours within the collection, including magenta, sky blue and burnt orange; contrasted with delicate powder blue pieces in floral prints, lace and intricate embroidery.

Shanina Shaik stunned the crowd in two stylish looks, the first being a sophisticated clashing print dress with an incredible vintage Chanel-esque blazer, and an immaculate jewel incrusted gown.

The awe-inspiring finale featured an ivory bridal gown, layered in organza and embroidery. Two of the cutest flower girls we've ever seen walked alongside the model clutching a bouquet of spring flowers.

This year's MBFWA was jam packed with memorable and fabulous moments. Toni Maticevski's high-fashion opening show set the bar for this year's MBFWA, while Bella Hadid walking for MISHA Collection was, of course, a definite highlight for us.

This year's MBFWA featured incredible runways in refreshing locations, including Manning Cartell's retro show at Bradfield Plaza; Romance Was Born's playful celebration of colour and texture at an immaculate private residence in Carthona, Darling Point, and CAMILLA's Resort 17 runway which sailed around Darling Harbour on a luxurious yacht.

Key trends and street style

Of course any Fashion Week wouldn't be complete without the amazing street style of the trend-setters and celebs attending the shows. Westfield has taken us behind the scenes of MBFWA with model of the moment, Yaya Deng, as she talks to MBFWA's most stylish to find out this season's top looks and the best shows at MBFWA.

The majority of the beauty looks featured on the runways were natural with barely there foundation, and a strong emphasis on unkempt brows. However, certain shows played with bold lips, glitter and spider lashes, as seen at the Romance Was Born, Di$count Universe and We Are Handsome runways.

Hair was chic and sleek across the runways, with common looks being effortless low buns and pony tails.
