Homeware lovers rejoice - the iconic North America-based global retailer, Williams-Sonoma, Inc., is coming to Queensland! The Brisbane opening of Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm is set for October 1, with stores located in Brisbane’s stylish shopping hub, Fortitude Valley.

“Recognised globally for its unique sophistication and style, Brisbane is one of the fastest-growing capital cities in Australia. As such, our global expansion will continue with three stores opening in Fortitude Valley, amidst a hive of activity already established,” said Ron Young, Senior Vice President of Global, Williams-Sonoma, Inc.

“At the heart of our brands – Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm – are unique design, exceptional customer service, and a calendar of in-store experiences for our customers.”

The stores are inter-connected to make it easy for customers to shop across the brands and provide signature services such as free in-home Design Service, where customers can consult with Design Specialists at no charge.

A line-up of local, creative collaborations will coincide with the stores’ opening day celebrations. Brisbane-based photographer and stylist Kara Rosenlund will bring her inimitable flair to the stores’ opening-day celebrations as guest host. West Elm is offering its first 300 customers an exclusive limited-edition tote bag in partnership with Brisbane designer and letterer Jasmine Dowling.

Nothing goes better together than shopping and a coffee, which is why Pottery Barn customers are invited to enjoy a complimentary coffee by Merlo and a decadent Bourbon Choc-Chip Cookie especially created by local baker The Sugar Hit.

This is a store opening not to be missed!
