Maticevski to open Sydney’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week
Notorious Australian designer, Maticevski, has been announced the Mercedes-Benz Presents designer for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA) 2016.
CEO of Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific, Horst von Sanden, is elated to announce Maticevski role, stating the designer is a “friend of the brand”.
“At Mercedes-Benz, we celebrate the use of quality materials, unique style and innovative design and the Maticevski brand is recognised as beautifully crafted and designed with artisanal attention to detail and exceptional values we proudly share with Toni,” said von Sanden.
Maticevski’s Resort Collection will be showcased on the opening night of MBFWA on Sunday the 15th of May.
Collette Dinnigan’s exclusive collection to grace Indooroopilly Shopping Centre
Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is proving itself to be at the forefront of fashion in Brisbane, with the announcement of internationally renowned desiger, Collette Dinningan’s exclusive exhibition set to grace the mall this April.
Titled Collette Dinningan: UNLACED, the pop-up exhibition will showcase exuberant embellished dresses, a virtual catwalk projecting 25 years of the designer’s work, as well as an interactive space for children to create their own designer pieces.

The wait is finally over for UNIQLO’s Queen Street Mall store, with doors opening on the 23rd of March, 2016.
Expanding over three floors, the Japanese retailer, positioned next to H&M, offers international fashion at the doorstep of Brisbane’s CBD.
In celebration of the much anticipated opening, giant origami cranes designed in collaboration with Jasmine Dowling, will be featured across Queen Street Mall from March.
